City University of Hong Kong wants to understand veterinarians’ current attitudes and practices on the use of analgesics and techniques related to acute and chronic pain management in cats.

Cat pain survey

Cats are masters at hiding pain, which poses a unique challenge for veterinary professionals in pain recognition and management. Are we doing enough to address this issue? What are the current gaps in our knowledge, and how can we work together to do better as a profession?
Veterinarians from the Centre for Animal Health and Welfare, Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine, City University of Hong Kong are working in collaboration with several organizations to conduct a global survey on the use of analgesics in cats.

City University of Hong Kong wants to understand veterinarians’ current attitudes and practices on the use of analgesics and techniques related to acute and chronic pain management in cats. The survey, funded by Boehringer Ingelheim, is open to veterinarians worldwide and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Participation is anonymous and voluntary.
